I obtained a Bachelor Degree in Ecobiology from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (2015). I’m carrying on my PhD project titled “Landscape suitability and functional connectivity in a changing world: brown bear as case study”, with the collaborations of my tutors: Prof. Paolo Ciucci and Prof. Luigi Maiorano. The focus of my research concern pattern of space use and habitat resources selection by brown bears (Ursus arctos marsicanus) population in central Italy, quantifying how these resources can change during the time under the effects of climate change.

I’m interested in conservation biology, movement ecology, macroecology and evolutionary ecology, from local to landscape spatial scales, with a special interest on statistical and modelling tools to predict the probability of species’ spatial distribution.
